Hi my name is sarah marie reeves and I am an assistant editor, Post PA, and set dresser. As a proud member in the LGBTQ community, I bring my authentic voice and lived experience to every project, aiming to create work that resonates emotionally and drives meaningful impact. With over five years of hands-on experience in post-production, I have edited content across diverse formats, from game shows and short films to fashion shoots and student productions.

I earned my B.S. in Film and Television Production from Boston University, where I honed her craft in both technical and creative capacities. My experience reflects a strong commitment to stories that uplift underrepresented voices and spark social dialogue. Whether syncing audio for narrative cuts or designing emotionally charged montages, I approach every frame with purpose and intention.

Currently working in roles ranging from assistant editor to set dresser, I have contributed to many AFI thesis films, YouTube series, and award-winning shorts recognized by festivals such as the LA International Short Film Festival and the Redstone Film Festival. My dream is to become a motion picture editor, where I can shape powerful, lasting cinema.
